Don't Listen, Ask

This is my response to a challenge at imaginary garden with real toads. The challenge was to write a short poem called a tanaga which is apparently an emotionally charged question begging for an answer.

Seemingly so Metaphors
Question innocent detours

However so rearranged
Love essentially estranged

  1. The way I read this, it reminds me of my ex, who loved to question and find suspicion over things that never merited any. That, more than anything, killed what I had once felt. A lot to convey in such a short form!
